Millicent Lions will host the District 201C2 Lions Clubs Convention on 23,24,25 October 2026.
District Governor Margie Thomas has sought the support of The Lions Club of Millicent and the Lions Club of Wattle Range Lioness to organise and run this event.

The Lions Club of Millicent has a record of many successful conventions and has always found a good mix of fun and achievement. For 2026 we are formally joined by our sister club, The Lions Club of Wattle Range Lioness. The two clubs have cooperated on many occasions and this project continues the connection.
The first meeting of the convention planning meeting under the guidance of Lion Mike Bleby was held on Thursday 5th of June 2025 with 14 in attendance. Tasks were discussed and some preliminary allocation of coordinators.
Although NO early bird registration will occur (we’ll instead add to the Convention raffle prize list) we had a presence at the October 2025 Convention (McLaren Vale). The committee is considering our promo for that time. Pamphlets advertising Convention 2026 were available for those interested in getting in early with accommodation.
A budget was prepared for consideration by Cabinet in February and approved.
We are fortunate that we have good records of previous Millicent conventions and they will provide guidance. Below are photos from an earlier convention.
